# Flowg8 · Retry failed action

Explicitly retry a failed step while its run is waiting.

Requester who owns the run or workspace manager required. The current active connection revision is accepted on retry. HTTP receivers should deduplicate by the stable action id in Idempotency-Key and payload.id. Email/Teams may duplicate after ambiguous network failures.

## POST /v1/flow-runs/{runId}/actions/{actionId}/retry

Authentication: restricted integration key (scope: runs:start) or Flowg8 sign-in access token
Required tenant header: X-Organization-Id.
Required user permissions: Requester role required. The API checks current membership, roles, key scopes and resource permissions on every request. Documentation visibility grants no access.
