# Flowg8 · Safe retries

Send a stable Idempotency-Key for each command. Retry with the same key and identical input.

Keys: 8–128 letters, digits, dots, underscores, colons or hyphens. Scoped to workspace, actor and operation. Reusing a key with different input returns 409. Generate a new key only for a new operation.

API-key creation retries return secret: null and replayed: true. If the first response was lost, revoke that key and create another. Search and AI questions do not use command idempotency.
